Abstract: IRC SECTION 37 REQUIRES INFORMATION FOR FIGURING CREDIT FOR THE ELDERLY TO REDUCE INCOME TAXES BY INDIVIDUALS 65 OR OLDER OR UNDER 65 AND RECEIVING PUBLIC RETIREMENT INCOME. THESE SCHEDULES ARE USED BY ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS TO FIGURE THEIR CREDIT. THE DATA IS USED TO HELP VERIFY THAT THE CREDIT IS PROPERLY FIGURED AND FOR GENERAL STATISTICS USE.
