Terms of Clearance: This request is disapproved for the following reasons: 1) VA has provided insufficient justification for the revision request It is not clear why VA needs the additional data items or how it will use the data collected,and 2) In light of the impending VA study on Agent Orange it is not clear why the questions on Agent Orange exposure were included. If the agency resubmits these questions for reveiw, please provide a copy of the supporting materials for the ongoing study so that we can better understand the relationship of the request to the primary study Also, the increase in burden associated with the additional questions was not reflected in the submission.
