Abstract: SECTION 1613(E) OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT PROVIDES FOR INFORMATION REQUIRED TO MAKE A DETERMINATION REGARDING SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME (SSI) BENEFITS. APPLICATION IS USED TO ELICIT REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR A COUPLE CONCERNING THEIR WISH TO CLAIM SSI BENEFITS.
