Abstract: THE EMERGENCY INVESTIGATION OF DISEASE EPIDEMICS IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE OVERALL MISSION OF THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL. THIS AUTHORIZATION ENABLES CDC SPECIALISTS TO IMMEDIATELY RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE IN CONTROLLING EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
